Inter Milan ready to entertain offers for Yann Bisseck

Premier League trio Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are interested as Inter Milan put Yan Bisseck up for sale.

Manchester United are closely monitoring Yan Bisseck as Inter Milan prepare to offload the 24-year-old centre-back in the upcoming transfer window, according to Caught Offside. The Nerazzurri are willing to consider offers in the region of €55 million, and United are among the most serious suitors in the early stages of what could become a highly contested chase.

Manchester United’s need for defensive reinforcements has become increasingly clear, with Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans both expected to depart upon the expiry of their contracts this summer. They are now actively identifying younger, athletic defenders who can bring stability, pace, and composure to a back line that has struggled with injuries and inconsistency throughout the season.

While no official contact has been made between the two clubs as of yet, Bisseck is firmly on Manchester United’s shortlist, and internal discussions have taken place regarding his suitability for the Premier League.

Inter Milan Open to Sale Despite Yann Bisseck’s Promise

Though Inter Milan are enjoying a strong season, one that could culminate in another UEFA Champions League final appearance, they appear open to parting with Bisseck if the right offer arrives. Despite his physical prowess and growing reputation, the German defender has faced stiff competition for minutes in Simone Inzaghi’s star-studded squad, which includes the likes of Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi.

For Inter, the sale of Bisseck presents a valuable opportunity to balance the books and potentially reinvest in other areas of the pitch. The Serie A champions believe they can command a premium fee for the former FC Koln man, especially given the demand for athletic centre-backs across Europe.

Manchester United Need to Move Decisively

With other Premier League clubs such as Tottenham and West Ham also circling, Manchester United will need to act decisively if they wish to secure Yann Bisseck’s signature. The German international’s profile, tall, quick, and capable on the ball, fits the mould that Rúben Amorim is believed to favour as he prepares to take charge at Old Trafford.

However, Manchester United’s uncertain league finish and lack of Champions League football could prove a stumbling block. Bisseck is currently part of a Champions League-chasing side at Inter, and any move will require United to present a convincing project that aligns with the defender’s ambition.

Yan Bisseck represents the kind of signing Manchester United must get right this summer, young, high-upside, and with the tools to grow into a Premier League leader. Inter Milan are shrewd operators and will sell if the €55 million price is met, but United cannot afford to hesitate. With their defence in need of a reset, Bisseck could be a foundational piece for a new era under Amorim. The question is whether United can move fast and bold enough to make it happen.

While Manchester United lead the chase, both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have also registered serious interest in Yan Bisseck. Spurs view the German as a potential long-term partner or rotational option alongside Micky van de Ven, especially amid uncertainty surrounding Cristian Romero. Bisseck’s athleticism and composure on the ball align well with Ange Postecoglou’s high defensive line and expansive system.

Meanwhile, West Ham are keen to rebuild their backline under new leadership, and with doubts over Jean-Clair Todibo, Bisseck is seen as a valuable addition who could slot in quickly and develop into a defensive leader. However, both clubs may struggle to match Manchester United’s financial power or prestige, especially if Inter demand the full €55 million valuation.
