Victor Osimhen wants £200,000-a-week deal to join Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 26-year-old Nigerian international Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window.

As per Give Me Sport, Victor Osimhen is open to joining Manchester United, and he wants a contract with £200,000-a-week wages. The Nigerian international is currently on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray, and he has 39 goal contributions thus far this season.

He could prove to be an excellent acquisition for Manchester United. They are in desperate need of a quality striker, and the Nigerian would be the ideal acquisition. He has proven himself over the years, and he helped Napoli win the league title recently.

The player does not have a future at Napoli, and therefore, he is unlikely to return to the Italian club upon the expiry of his loan deal. Napoli will look to sell him permanently, and moving to Manchester United would be ideal.

Man United need a top-class striker

Manchester United signed Joshua Zirkzee at the start of the season, but the Netherlands International has not been able to live up to the expectations. He has struggled to score consistently, and Manchester United need to bring in an upgrade. Osimhen would certainly be an upgrade on their current options. He is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in European football right now. He will be hoping to prove himself at a higher level, and moving to the Premier League would be ideal at this stage of his career.

Even though Manchester United have struggled this season, they have the resources to build a formidable side, and they could be fighting for a major trophy soon.

The opportunity to join them will be exciting for the Nigerian international striker. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and he will want to win major trophies with them.

Manchester United certainly have the financial resources to pay him £200,000 a week. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. The player has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past as well, and it remains to be seen whether he can finalise the move to England.
