Following two days of talks in the United States between manager Roberto De Zerbi, president Pablo Longoria, sporting director Mehdi Benatia, and president Pablo Longoria, Marseille confirm the Italian will be at the club next season in an official communiqué.
Hosted by McCourt and Jeff Ingram, president of OM’s supervisory board, the meetings were convened in the wake of Marseille’s second-place finish in Ligue 1 – a season marked by the club’s return to the UEFA Champions League.
In an official statement sent to supporters, OM described the transatlantic summit as an opportunity to “consolidate and reaffirm the unity” of the club’s leadership, who remain “fully aligned” in their commitment to the project launched in summer 2024.
