An updated round of odds to go all the way in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup have on Thursday been unveiled.
And they point towards La Liga giants Real Madrid being amongst the favourites, albeit some way off top spot.
The info comes courtesy of Livescore, citing statisticians Opta.
Unsurprisingly, it is Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain – fresh off lifting the Champions League for the first time ever – who boast frontrunner status to go all the way in the USA.
Closely following in 2nd are Manchester City, ahead of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in 3rd and 4th respectively.
Then come Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid, considered as having a 10% chance of claiming the first-ever newly-formatted Club World Cup.
Spanish football’s other representatives, in Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid, sit three spots back in 8th, with 5% winner odds.
