La Liga outfit Villarreal have this week tied up a deal for a highly-regarded member of the attacking ranks at Las Palmas.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Alberto Moleiro as the player in question.
Moleiro, for his part, has long been considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in Spanish football.
Despite Las Palmas’ collective struggles en route to being relegated from La Liga this past season, the 21-year-old continued to impress, across a range of attacking roles.
All told, across 35 league appearances in 2024/25, Moleiro racked up six goals and an assist.
Such exploits had long piqued the interests of a number of Spain’s leading clubs, chief amongst them the aforementioned Villarreal.
And as alluded to above, this week, the Yellow Submarine appear to have landed their man.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, citing the equally reliable Matteo Moretto:
‘Alberto Moleiro to Villarreal, here we go! Agreement done with Las Palmas for the Spanish talent. Deal in place and all set to be signed.’
