So, the 25-year-old Atletico Madrid forward has emerged as a target for the West London club.
However, Chelsea will not be alone in the race to sign Alvarez, as Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on signing the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner. Interestingly, the two European bigwigs are appealing destinations for Alvarez, and the 2024/25 FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League winners face a tall order to secure his services.
