According to a report by Spanish outlet AS, Everton, Fulham, and West Ham United are keen on signing Allan Elias. The three Premier League clubs are scouring the market for a promising playmaker heading into the winter transfer window. So, the 21-year-old Palmeiras whizkid has emerged as a target for the English outfits.
Allan Andrade Elias, better known as Allan, is the latest promising attacking prospect to rise in prominence in his homeland. A native of Florianopolis, the South American attacker spent his formative years in Brazil, starting his youth career at Figueirense before graduating from the youth division at Palmeiras.
The 21-year-old has made nearly 50 appearances thus far for Palmeiras, chipping in with two goals and six assists. Meanwhile, the young Brazilian playmaker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Premier League outfits, in particular, are interested, with Everton, Fulham, and West Ham United among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
Everton signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, and the English playmaker has been excellent through the central areas for the Merseyside outfit. However, the Toffees need more quality in the final third, with the Palmeiras whizkid emerging as a viable target.
Meanwhile, Fulham’s interest in Allan Elias is understandable. While Joshua King has been impressive since breaking into the first-team squad, the Cottagers need more firepower in the final third. So, the promising Palmeiras playmaker is an option worth considering for Fulham.
As for West Ham United, the Hammers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a versatile playmaker next year. Recent reports have suggested that Lucas Paqueta wants to leave the East London club. So, his compatriot can replace Paqueta in the coming weeks. However, it is unclear how much the youngster will cost.
Allan’s contract with Palmeiras contains a release clause worth €100 million. However, it will be surprising to see the Brazilian club demanding a nine-figure sum to part ways with the 21-year-old attacking midfielder. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him amid his links with Everton, Fulham, and West Ham.
