Serhou Guirassy could be offered to Manchester United in January

Manchester United could be offered the opportunity to sign 29-year-old Guinean international Serhou Guirassy from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in January.

Serhou Guirassy has been linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund. The Red Devils are undecided on a move for him as per TEAMtalk, and it would be interesting to see how the situation develops.

There is no doubt that the Borussia Dortmund is a quality player and he has shown that in the Bundesliga and in the UEFA Champions League. However, Manchester United have already invested in Benjamin Sesko, and it seems unlikely that they will drop him to the bench and start Guirassy instead.

Furthermore, having two strikers at their disposal might not be a preferable option for them either. The Red Devils will not be able to provide them with regular opportunities, and it could leave the two players frustrated.

Guirassy will want to join a club where he will play regularly. It remains to be seen where he ends up. The Guinean international has proven his quality at the highest level, and there is unlikely to be any shortage of clubs hoping to sign him.

The 29-year-old is at the peak of his career, and joining a big club will be quite exciting for him. On paper, the move to Manchester United would be quite tempting. However, he is not a good fit for them, and the move would not make a lot of sense.

Manchester United move for Guirassy would not be ideal

Manchester United should focus on grooming Sesko into a top-class player in the Premier League. There is no doubt that the Slovenian striker is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player for Manchester United with the right guidance.

Furthermore, Guirassy will be past his peak soon, and Manchester United are looking to build for the future. It would be extremely uncharacteristic of them to invest in the player in January. They should look to aim for younger players with more potential. It remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old can secure a big move for himself in the coming weeks.
