Rafael Leao keen on Milan stay as contract talks begin

Rafael Leao has no intention of leaving the San Siro this summer, with the Portuguese star remaining fully committed to the Milan project.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, the winger is keen on staying with the Rossoneri, and the club has already begun laying the groundwork for his long-term future. Milan’s sporting director, Igli Tare, reportedly held initial contact with the player’s entourage two months ago to discuss the path forward. At this stage, there are absolutely no signs of a potential exit on the horizon.

Milan’s stance remains firm and only a monstrous offer could even tempt the management into considering a sale. Instead, the priority is a contract renewal that would extend Leao’s stay by an additional two or three seasons beyond his current agreement. Given the strong relationship between the parties and the player’s desire to remain a central figure in the squad, the Rossoneri are confident in securing the future of their most prized attacking asset.
