Arsenal join Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Tottenham in Kevin Schade race

Arsenal have reportedly joined the race for Kevin Schade, with a host of other Premier League teams looking closely at the Brentford winger.

According to Caught Offside, Kevin Schade is set to attract plenty of interest from many Premier League teams, as Arsenal join the race for the German attacker. The Brentford star has had an important season in London, with the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham all interested in the winger.

Arsenal are set to enter another important summer window, with Mikel Arteta thought to be focusing on particular areas of the squad. There is a possibility of a new central midfielder arriving to take the load off Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi, while Ben White’s potential departure could see a new right back arrive.

A left winger is seen as the priority for Arteta, with one of Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli likely to depart in the summer. There have been some ambitious links to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but the idea of signing the PSG winger seems unlikely at the current moment.

Anthony Gordon is also a target for Arsenal, as the idea of a high-profile arrival for that position aligns with the club’s overall transfer strategy over the last few years. A new name has been added to that mix, as Brentford’s Kevin Schade is now a reported target for the Gunners.

Schade has been having an important season for Brentford, and has been key to their push for a European place finish. The attacker has 10 goal contributions in the Premier League for Keith Andrews’ side, and there is a possibility he could leave amid growing interest. The Bees might consider a sale, with the report citing a possible €60 million asking price.

Arsenal to Sign Kevin Schade?

Arsenal are not alone in the race, as they are probably the latest entrant in the chase. Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all interested, although the latter’s chances will depend on their ability to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

Aston Villa are constantly looking for solutions that would improve their squad, and with the possibility of Champions League football, they could have a good chance of landing the German winger. Newcastle United could view Schade as a replacement for Gordon should he depart, although if Arsenal enter the picture, it could turn the tide in the North Londoners’ favour.
