According to a report by Italian publication Il Giornale, as relayed by Calciomercato, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic. The two Premier League clubs are eager to bolster their offensive units by signing a wide attacker ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The latest report has brought good news for Liverpool and Tottenham, suggesting the American attacker’s “fate is also in doubt” heading into the upcoming transfer window. Meanwhile, AC Milan will consider selling Pulisic if they receive a bid worth around €55 million in the coming months.
Christian Pulisic has resurrected his stuttering fortunes since joining AC Milan from Chelsea in July 2023. While the 27-year-old attacker showed flashes of brilliance during his spell at the West London club, he could not become a pivotal figure at Stamford Bridge. However, he has been excellent during his spell with the Rossoneri, becoming one of the best players in Serie A in the last three seasons.
The 84-cap USMNT international has been solid thus far in the 2025/26 season, scoring ten goals and providing three assists in 29 appearances across all competitions. However, Pulisic’s long-term future at AC Milan is uncertain, as he has entered the final 18 months of his contract. The situation has not gone unnoticed, with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
Christian Pulisic has been on Liverpool’s wishlist for a long time. The continued interest makes sense, as they are preparing for life after Mohamed Salah. The veteran Egyptian attacker will depart from Anfield as a free agent after the 2025/26 season, forcing Liverpool to dip into the market for a long-term replacement. With Pulisic primarily a right winger, he can take over as the new first-choice starter on the right flank.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the AC Milan attacker is understandable. The Lilywhites are scouring the market for a versatile wide attacker, as they are yet to fill Son Heung-min’s void since he joined LAFC last summer. Additionally, Richarlison faces an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So, Pulisic has emerged as a viable target for the North London club.
Meanwhile, AC Milan’s desired transfer fee for Pulisic should not be prohibitive for Liverpool or Tottenham, and Pulisic can justify an outlay of €55 million, as he is at the peak of his powers. However, Tottenham may be at a disadvantage in the battle for the 27-year-old American forward’s signature, as they will not offer European football and may be in the EFL Championship if they fail in the relegation battle.
