According to a report by TEAMtalk, intermediaries have offered Harvey Elliott to Fulham and Leeds United. The 23-year-old playmaker has no future at Aston Villa, having struggled for regular game time since arriving from Liverpool on a season-long loan deal last summer. Additionally, the Reds are ready to part ways with him ahead of the 2026/27 season.
However, Fulham and Leeds United are not the only clubs to have the opportunity to sign the Englishman, as intermediaries have also approached Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Newcastle United. However, the path to Fulham and Newcastle United is complicated for Elliott.
Harvey Elliott has seen his progress come to a stuttering halt in the last two seasons. While the 23-year-old has been impressive and promising since joining Liverpool from Fulham in July 2019, regular game time has eluded him since Arne Slot took over at Anfield. The struggles have amplified in the 2025/26 season, as his loan move to Aston Villa has not worked out as well as he would have liked.
The English playmaker has managed only 284 minutes of game time in 11 appearances thus far for Aston Villa. Unai Emery has been reluctant to hand any game time to the Liverpool loanee, even off the bench, as widespread reports have speculated that the conditional obligation clause may have played a role in it.
When Harvey Elliott joined Aston Villa, it seemed Liverpool and the youngster had made the right choice, as he seemed to fit into Unai Emery’s style of play. However, now that has not transpired, intermediaries have approached several Premier League clubs to offer the 23-year-old Englishman to them.
However, Elliott may struggle for regular game time at Leeds United, as Brenden Aaronson has enjoyed a resurgent run this term, compelling the West Yorkshire outfit to consider handing him a new contract. While the Liverpool misfit can play on the right flank, there is no such advanced role in Daniel Farke’s 3-5-2 setup.
As for Fulham, the West London outfit signed Oscar Bobb from Manchester City earlier this year. However, Elliott has been on Fulham’s radar, as the Cottagers are worried about Harry Wilson’s long-term future. So, the English playmaker is an option worth considering. However, Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion may also be appealing prospects if they respond favourably to the approaches by intermediaries.
