Several Marseille players, reportedly led by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, caused significant damage inside accomodation at the club’s training ground on Thursday night following the end of an enforced stay imposed on the players, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
A number of Marseille players allegedly turned their rooms upside down during an improvised end-of-retreat party. Beds were moved, rooms left in disarray and, most notably, a fire extinguisher was reportedly emptied inside the room of a club official.
Several internal witnesses reportedly described the atmosphere as resembling a “summer camp”, with the behaviour said to have shocked multiple members of staff present at the training centre.
