PSG centre-forward Ousmane Dembélé (29) went off early on against Paris FC on Ligue 1’s final day with what looked like a thigh injury. The Ballon d’Or winner headed straight towards Stade Jean-Bouin’s away dressing room after being replaced by Portugal international centre-forward Gonçalo Ramos. Dembélé’s fitness is matter for concern with PSG set to lock horns with Arsenal in the Champions League final on Saturday, May 30.
Facing the media after PFC’s win over the Ligue 1 champions, PSG head coach Luis Enrique delivered an update on the France international, who has been called up by Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps for the 2026 World Cup. The Spaniard said that he had nothing to say regarding Dembélé’s fitness with further medical exams expected to take place on Monday.
“I think it’s just fatigue,” added Luis Enrique in a press conference attended by Get French Football News. “What we’re saying today is just speculation, but I don’t think it’s anything serious, and there are still two weeks left.”
