Former Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard will miss Besiktas’ UEFA Europa League opener against Olympique de Marseille due to injury. He is the only injury-related absence for the Turkish side on Thursday night.
There will be plenty of former Ligue 1 players on display. Former AS Monaco loanee, Alexander Nubel, is set to start in goal for Besiktas, whilst there will also likely be a start for another former Monégasque, Kassoum Ouattara, who joined the club just this summer. Former Stade de Reims defender Emmanuel Agbadou is expected to line up in the defence, as is Amir Murillo.
The Panama international left last winter, having been forced towards the exit by now-former OM manager Roberto De Zerbi. Former Lille OSC defender Tiago Djalo is expected to be only good enough for a place on the bench tonight.
