Genk’s Ghanaian international Christopher Bonsu Baah set for big money move to Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah FC

HLN are reporting that Genk are set to earn a substantial fee for 20-year-old winger Christopher Bonsu Baah. The Ghanaian international winger is on his way to Saudi Arabia to join Al Qadsiah. Bonsu Baah, who cost Genk around €6m to come in from Sarpsborg two seasons ago, is set to earn the club substantially more than the amount it cost to bring him to the Pro League.

Al Qadsiah have already done some successful shopping in Belgium, with Cameron Puertas having joined last season. Bonsu Baah would be joining up with the likes of Koen Casteels and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, both of whom helped the side finish third in the Saudi Pro League last season.

Bonsu Baah left Sarpsborg after just 14 appearances, with one goal and one assist. During the 2023/2024 campaign he played 47 games for Genk, scoring twice and grabbing two assists. He improved those numbers this season with three goals and four assists in 43 games.
