Juventus ready to sell Dusan Vlahovic this summer

Manchester United and Newcastle United have both received a massive boost in their pursuit of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via Fichajes, Dusan Vlahovic might be living his final weeks in Turin, as he is no longer considered untouchable at Juventus. The Serie A giants are ready to sanction his departure amidst interest from Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Vlahovic made a name for himself while playing for Fiorentina. His performances put him on the radar of Juventus, who forked out a massive fee to add him to their squad at the start of 2022. While the 25-year-old striker has shown glimpses of the talent he possesses, he has not been able to live up to the expectations.

With just over 12 months remaining on his contract at the Turin-based club, there is a lot of uncertainty around his future. They no longer consider Dusan Vlahovic untouchable and are ready to listen to offers as long as they meet their demands.

The Old Lady are in a very difficult financial situation, and with Vlahovic on a massive financial package, they are looking to ease some burden off their wage bill by offloading him. In the process, they will also recoup a part of the fee they had paid to sign the 25-year-old.

Premier League giants keen on signing Vlahovic

His departure could help them initiate a rebuild, which could go a long way in helping Juventus re-establish themselves as a powerhouse in Italian football. With the Turin-based club ready to sell, Manchester United and Newcastle have received a massive boost in their pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic.

Both Premier League giants are looking to add more firepower to their attack. Ruben Amorim is not satisfied with the output of his current forwards and wants a new number nine to lead the line. Vlahovic could certainly help their cause.

Meanwhile, the Magpies are also keen on signing him. While they have no intentions of selling Alexander Isak, they are still looking to add the Juventus striker to the mix to further bolster Eddie Howe’s attack. Both the English clubs have already enquired about the Serbian striker and it will be interesting to see how things progress from here. However, recent reports have claimed that he wants to join AC Milan.
