The relegation-threatened Serie A club will aim to bolster the defensive unit by signing a centre-back in the winter transfer window. So, the 23-year-old Tottenham centre-back has emerged as a target for La Viola.
Fabio Paratici, who will join Fiorentina as the new head of football after leaving Tottenham in the coming days, is masterminding a move for Dragusin. However, Tottenham recently rejected an approach from La Viola, and the player “needs to be convinced” about joining them. Nevertheless, the Bucharest-born defender’s spell with Tottenham will end soon, with a January exit on the cards.
Radu Dragusin has struggled to make his mark since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Genoa in a deal worth €30 million in January 2024. The 23-year-old arrived in North London after an excellent stint with Genoa. However, the youngster has yet to become a regular for Tottenham, and a long-term knee injury kept him in the treatment room for most of 2025.
Dragusin has managed only 38 appearances thus far for Tottenham, amassing 2,609 minutes of game time. However, the Romanian defender’s stock remains high, and a return to Serie A may be on the cards.
