Fenerbahçe plotting move to sign N’Golo Kanté from Al-Ittihad

Fenerbahçe would be keen to sign Al-Ittihad midfielder N’Golo Kanté (34), according to L’Equipe. The France international midfielder is under contract with the Saudi Pro league side until the summer of 2026. Kanté’s contractual situation has put several European clubs on high alert, and Fenerbahçe have now made their interest known. The Turkish giants have already signed Mattéo Guendouzi from SS Lazio this winter.

The outlet understands that Fenerbahçe intend to sign Kanté during the winter transfer window. It will reportedly be unlikely to see Kanté leave Al-Ittihad in the coming weeks considering that the Jeddah-based side have not given up hope of renewing Kanté’s deal. Kanté has reportedly not responded favorably to Al-Ittihad’s proposal.
