RC Strasbourg Alsace completed two signings from partner club Chelsea during the closing hours of the transfer window. David Datro Fofana and Aaron Anselmino both arrived at the Meinau, but only the former is in contention to face AS Monaco in the Coupe de France on Thursday night, L’Équipe understands.
Gary O’Neil is without club captain Emanuel Emegha, and that is expected to remain the case for several weeks, whilst Maxi Oyedele remains sidelined, too. Whilst not injured, Anselmino, who joined on loan from Chelsea on deadline day, is not expected to be included in the matchday squad.
Fofana is expected to be on the bench for Strasbourg, with Joaquin Panichelli continuing to lead the line. Despite his recent good form, Martial Godo is also expected to be on the bench tonight.
