RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Gessime Yassine (20) is reportedly attracting interest from FC Barcelona, according to his agent Hervé Kross.
“Barcelona is already interested in signing Yassine and there are conversations… but so far, there is no official offer,” the businessman told Winwinallsports.
After arriving in eastern France from Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque for a fee of €7 million this winter, the young Moroccan forward quickly made a name for himself.
Having already made seven appearances for Strasbourg, he even delivered his first assist in the 1-1 draw away to Olympique de Marseille on 14th February. A few weeks later, against Stade de Reims in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, in his first start for RCSA, his performance had also been praised by all observers.
A contribution that adds to the three goals and eight assists he recorded with Dunkerque in the first half of the season. At just 20 years of age, the Moroccan Under-20 international, who has 16 caps (four goals), has already played nearly 80 professional matches.
