Yohan Cabaye has been confirmed in his role as head of Paris Saint-Germain’s training centre, according to information from Le Parisien.
A decision that reflects the Parisian management’s desire to focus on continuity and stability, despite the heavy atmosphere reported in recent months. Launched on the club’s initiative last October, an investigation by the social and economic committee revealed unease in the pre-training and youth recruitment departments. As a result, a change in governance had been recommended.
Which did not sit well with PSG’s management, who finally decided, after further investigation, to keep Cabaye in his position, as well as Lucas Vigneron, head of operations at the training centre, who was also targeted by the testimony of certain employees.
Assumed, this choice should now allow the academy to regain its serenity and focus on the sporting aspect and the development of its young talents, at the heart of the Rouge et Bleu project.
