Endrick (19) has been called up by Carlo Ancelotti to the Brazil squad for the friendly matches against France and Croatia on 28th March and 1st April.
Capped on 14 occasions (three goals) for the Canarinha, the Taguatinga-born player has not represented Brazil since a 4-1 defeat to Argentina in March 2025. Having not been called up for the four subsequent squads, Endrick has finally seen his performances rewarded by his new manager.
Loaned to Olympique Lyonnais this winter by Real Madrid, where he had barely featured in the first half of the season (99 minutes played in three appearances), the former Palmeiras player has used his first few weeks in France to get back to form.
Started by Paulo Fonseca in 11 of his 12 appearances for Les Gones, Endrick, whose performances have at times been inconsistent, has nonetheless already scored six goals and provided four assists in all competitions. Against FC Metz on 25th January, he even scored the first hat-trick of his career and netted his first – and, to date, only – goals in Ligue 1.
