Sky Germany reports that Hoffenheim will demand a record fee for winger Bazoumana Toure if he leaves in the summer.
The 20-year-old has been one of the protagonists in Hoffenheim’s push for Champions League football this season, and is beginning to attract interest from abroad, especially the Premier League.
If Toure wishes to leave the club in the summer, then they will only allow him to leave for a record fee, with the winger’s contract in Sinsheim still valid until 2029. Which is currently held by Joelinton following his €43.5m move to Newcastle in 2019.
Despite fighting to qualify for the Champions League, Hoffenheim could experience an exodus in the summer with strikers Fisnik Asllani and Tim Lemperle linked with moves away in recent months. While Grischa Prömel has already agreed to join Stuttgart in the summer.
In his first full season in the Bundesliga, the Ivorian has two goals and 10 assists in 22 games under Christian Ilzer. Touré has regularly provided for the Kraichgauer’s attacking trio of Asllani, Andrej Kramaric and Tim Lemperle, as they currently sit third in the Bundesliga.
