It’s known that Mohamed Salah will depart Liverpool this summer, and now the Premier League club are working on signing the Egyptian’s replacement.
According to Sport Bild, Arne Slot’s side have identified Hoffenheim attacker Bazoumana Touré, who is enjoying a breakout campaign in the Bundesliga having scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 24 league appearances in 2025/26.
Additionally, Liverpool scouts watched Touré during Ivory Coast’s 1-0 win over Scotland. The 20-year-old, who made his international debut in October 2025, scored two goals in three games at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and with five caps already, is a certain to feature at this summer’s World Cup.
Should Touré leave Hoffenheim in the summer, then the Sinsheim club can expect to receive a fee of around €40m, having signed the winger from Hammarby IF for €10m in February 2025 and if Christian Ilzer’s outfit fail to qualify for European football, a departure would seem all the more likely.
But Liverpool aren’t the only team holding an interest. Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are among the clubs interested in the Ivorian.
