Whilst questions have recently been raised about Michael Olise’s (24) future at Bayern Munich, the club – through the voices of their CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and sporting director Max Eberl – have completely ruled out the possibility of the Frenchman leaving in the near term.
“No matter which club tries to lure him away, anyone who plays for FC Bayern knows what they have at FC Bayern,” Dreesen told Sport Bild. Eberl added: “We’re not wasting any thought on that. He’s an FC Bayern player and has all the opportunities here that top players could wish for. Michael has a contract with us until 2029, without a release clause – we’re relaxed.”
Under contract with the Rekordmeister until 2029, Olise is therefore unlikely to leave Bavaria this summer, despite having been linked with a move to Liverpool or Real Madrid.
A key player in Vincent Kompany’s side, the French international (13 caps, four goals) has established himself as one of the world’s best players in his position this season. Starting in 34 of his 39 appearances this season, Olise has already proved decisive on 43 occasions, scoring 16 goals and providing 27 assists across all competitions.
An impressive record for the London-born player who, since joining from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, has racked up 86 contributions (36 goals and 50 assists) in 94 matches played for Bayern.
