Barcelona now pressing for Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni

Serie A giants Inter are facing the possibility of losing Alessandro Bastoni in the summer, with Barcelona pressing for the defender’s signature.

Tuttomercatoweb‘s Marco Conterio has reported about the Italy international, who has been on the Catalan club’s radar for many days now.

It is believed that Barcelona are applying pressure to sign the defender, with parties now discussing his future at Inter. There have been suggestions that Bastoni would be quite interested in a move to the Nou Camp, leading to the Nerazzurri making considerations about possible replacements.

Two players that have been identified are Lazio’s Mario Gila and Udinese’s Oumar Solet. Contacts for both have been advancing, with Sassuolo’s Tarik Muharemovic also on the radar. For the Bosnian, Juventus’ resale value is putting the Nerazzurri off in a possible deal.

It is very much possible for Bastoni isn’t the only defender to leave Inter, with Francesco Acerbi and Stefan De Vrij also on their way out.
