However, Arsenal will not be alone in the battle for the Frenchman’s signature, as recent reports have also linked him with Leeds United. Additionally, Bundesliga clubs are also vying for the Stade Rennais midfielder’s services, with Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt keen on signing him from the Ligue 1 club.
Djaoui Cisse is the latest promising prospect to rise in prominence in his homeland. Born in Juvisy-sur-Orge, the 22-year-old spent his formative years in France, passing through the academies at US Grigny and CS Brétigny Football before graduating from the youth division at Stade Rennais.
The French midfield prospect has made nearly 50 appearances for Stade Rennais thus far while chipping in with one goal.
