Juventus Eye Bayern Munich Ace as Bremer Rises Concerns

Gleison Bremer talked to the press before the recent Milan clash instead of Luciano Spalletti and, while he said he’s fine at Juventus, he added that his goal was to win trophies, that he didn’t have much time to do so, and that the team has been treading water for six seasons.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri want to keep the Brazilian center-back but won’t take concrete steps to ensure that, like offering a renewal, anytime soon. He extended his contract two summers ago, obtaining a €54M release clause that’s valid until August 10th. It was a countermove to Liverpool’s interest at the time.

Bremer obviously stayed at Juventus, then he tore his ACL in the autumn, and he fell off the radar of the very top clubs. It’ll be tough for the Old Lady to improve his salary, as he’s already making €6M. They have to sit idle and let the market dictate his future.

Per Libero, the Bianconeri are extremely keen on Kim Min-Jae. Spalletti coached him in Napoli and is a massive fan. His spell at Bayern Munich isn’t going too well. He could depart for €20M or so, but his wages are robust. Ideally, he’d be an addition and not a replacement, but he’d be their top name if they had to substitute for the former Torino star.

Our Take on Juventus, Bremer, and Kim

It’s unlikely that a team will offer that much on the nail for the former, but crazier things have happened, and the center-backs’ market is very rich. The rearguard has been solid since Spalletti took over, especially lately, but adding a proper stud would take it to another level.
