Gonçalo Ramos (24) looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer with clubs in Italy interested in acquiring his services, according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio. The Portuguese international forward’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already started discussions with clubs in Serie A over a potential transfer.
The former Benfica forward has struggled for regular minutes since he made the switch to the French capital. Due to sheer quality in the attack at the Parc des Princes, the 24-year-old has often been forced to settle for minutes from the bench with sporadic starting opportunities.
At his next club, the priority for Ramos is to operate as a starting striker. Mendes has already started talks with several clubs in Italy, scoping out whether there would be a starting berth for his client. The Portuguese striker has only made 12 starts in Ligue 1 this season, and is yet to start a game in the UEFA Champions League.
