Nabil Bentaleb has missed Lille OSC’s last three matches due to undergoing surgery for an infection. However, he will return for Bruno Genesio’s side as they prepare to face AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II on Sunday night.
Bentaleb returned to training this week, and while he will be included in the matchday squad that makes the trip to the Principality, he is not expected to slot back into Lille’s midfield. Genesio can also count on the return of Noah Edjouma, who, likewise, is set for a place on the bench later today.
Les Dogues, who are looking to get one over a European rival, remain without Ousmane Touré, Marc-Aurele Caillard, Hamza Igamane, and Marius Broholm. Olivier Giroud is not expected to start this evening.
