Lorient set asking price for Lyon and Lille target Pablo Pagis

According to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, FC Lorient have set their asking price for Pablo Pagis (23) amid interest from Olympique Lyonnais and Lille OSC.

Lyon and Lille are currently battling for a spot on the Ligue 1 podium and with it automatic qualification into the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, but they could also soon be battling in the transfer market for the future of this season’s top scorer for Les Merlus

Toubache-Ter writes that both European challengers hope to secure Pagis for €15m, but that is below Lorient’s wishes. Lorient, who have recently been taken over by Bournemouth owner, Black Knight Football Club, are waiting for an offer of €25m, including bonuses.

Pagis has been one of the stars of a Lorient side that is on course for a top-half finish. His goal against league leaders Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday brought his tally for the season to 10, while he has also registered three assists.
