Olympique Lyonnais are not opposed to selling midfielder Tanner Tessmann (24) this summer, amid interest from the Premier League, as per a report from The Athletic.
The USMNT international has been a key part of Lyon’s midfield under Paulo Fonseca. Since joining from Venezia back in 2024, he has made 74 appearances for the Ligue 1 club. This season, he helped lead the club back into the UEFA Champions League. They will have to pass through the preliminary phases if they are to reach the ‘League Phase’.
However, they may have to do so without Tessmann. Lyon rejected an approach from Atletico Madrid back in January, however, the club are not opposed to a sale this summer. The midfielder, who is expected to go to his home World Cup with the USMNT, is available for between €20-25m, The Athletic understands.
The publication adds that there are a number of clubs interested in Italy and France.
