Thomas Meunier (34) is set to leave Lille OSC this summer, as per a report from Fabrizio Romano. The Belgium international is not expected to see his deal renewed.
Two years after joining Lille on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Trabzonspor, Meunier is set to depart. The full-back has been a key player under Bruno Genesio, whose time at LOSC also came to an end, as confirmed on Monday.
The former Paris Saint-Germain full-back played 35 games in all competitions last season, scoring twice and registering three assists.
The Belgian kept the promising Tiago Santos out of the side for much of the campaign, but his contract will not be renewed. Romano understands that Meunier will now have talks with other clubs. Curiously, it is the player himself who will hold those talks as he is not represented by an agency.
