Crystal Palace to contact Lens over Pierre Sage’s availability to become new manager

Crystal Palace plan to contact Lens over the availability of Pierre Sage to become their new manager in the coming hours, according to Foot Mercato. The Premier League club are not currently considering talks with other coaches as they make the Frenchman their priority target to replace the departing Oliver Glasner.

Whomever replaces the German manger at Selhurst Park will have big shoes to fill after Glasner secured three trophies including most recently the UEFA Conference League during his time in charge of the club.  However, Palace must believe Sage is capable after an impressive track record in Ligue 1, with his latest achivement incluing Les Sang et Or’s Coupe de France victory.
