Real Madrid summer signing Yan Diomandé is as things stand the most prolific dribbler per-90 across all players in Europe’s leading leagues.

Winger Diomandé is for his part of course fresh off something of a hit-and-miss start to life in Spain, since linking up with Real Madrid from RB Leipzig in a big-money transfer this past summer.

The 19-year-old was criticised for the level of his early performances, looking tentative and struggling to beat his man in one-on-one situations.

Over the last couple of weeks, though, Diomandé has begun to showcase flashes of his undeniable quality.

The Ivorian laid on an assist en route to a 3-2 La Liga victory over Elche last week, and made his presence felt in difficult circumstances after being introduced off the bench in this past Sunday’s Madrid Derby.

And as alluded to above, this improving form on Diomandé’s part is firmly backed by the statistics. As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, at a rate of 5.7, the Real Madrid starlet has racked up more dribbles per-90 than any other player in Europe’s top-5 leagues in 2026/27.
