Predicted Real Madrid lineup against Sevilla: Tchouameni in for Modric; Jacobo Ramon starts again

Aurelien Tchouameni will replace Luka Modric in the Real Madrid starting lineup against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Sunday.

Real Madrid will play on the road for the final time on Sunday when they lock horns with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Sunday evening. Carlo Ancelotti has greeted positive updates on the team news front ahead of his side’s latest fixture.

Aurelien Tchouameni is available after serving a suspension earlier this week against RCD Mallorca. In addition, Andriy Lunin and Lucas Vazquez are in the travelling squad after recovering from their minor injuries.

However, Antonio Rudiger, Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, Eduardo Camavinga, Brahim Diaz, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo remain on the sidelines. Meanwhile, during his pre-match press conference, Ancelotti did not provide a fitness update on any player. However, he praised Kylian Mbappe amid his excellent form.

The Real Madrid manager said, “It’s a motivation. For him, it’s important, and it means he’s performed well this season. He has scored 40 goals; for a first season at Real Madrid, it’s very good. I think he can still get more out of his performance, but we have to be honest: his first season at Real Madrid has been very good.”

Meanwhile, Ancelotti also discussed the club’s latest signing, Dean Huijsen. He said, “He’s a great player, with a great future and potential. He’s a very good signing. All Real Madrid signings bring excitement, because this team is always at the top and always wants to be at the top. Last year we didn’t think it was possible to strengthen there because we had the return of Alaba and Militão and Carvajal, but injuries have hurt us.”

Thibaut Courtois will take his usual spot between the sticks, with Real Madrid lining up in a 4-4-2 formation in front of him against Sevilla on Sunday. The backline should feature Federico Valverde, Jacobo Ramon, Raul Asencio, and Fran Garcia.

As for the midfield unit, Aurelien Tchouameni should pair up with Dani Ceballos in the middle of the park, with Luka Modric making way for the Frenchman. Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham will take up the wide berths, with Kylian Mbappe and Endrick being the two strikers.

Predicted Real Madrid XI: Courtois; Valverde, Ramon, Asencio, Fran Garcia; Guler, Ceballos, Tchouameni, Bellingham; Mbappe, Endrick
