Aurelien Tchouameni is available after serving a suspension earlier this week against RCD Mallorca. In addition, Andriy Lunin and Lucas Vazquez are in the travelling squad after recovering from their minor injuries.
However, Antonio Rudiger, Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, Eduardo Camavinga, Brahim Diaz, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo remain on the sidelines. Meanwhile, during his pre-match press conference, Ancelotti did not provide a fitness update on any player. However, he praised Kylian Mbappe amid his excellent form.
The Real Madrid manager said, “It’s a motivation. For him, it’s important, and it means he’s performed well this season. He has scored 40 goals; for a first season at Real Madrid, it’s very good. I think he can still get more out of his performance, but we have to be honest: his first season at Real Madrid has been very good.”
Meanwhile, Ancelotti also discussed the club’s latest signing, Dean Huijsen. He said, “He’s a great player, with a great future and potential. He’s a very good signing.
