According to a report from Sacha Tavolieri for Sky Sports Switzerland, Aston Villa could sanction the sale of Leon Bailey this summer, with interest emerging from Saudi Arabia.
The Premier League side are among several clubs under scrutiny from the independant financial regulator and may need to sell key assets in order to stay within Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and reinvest later in the window.
Saudi clubs with backing from the state-controlled Public Investment Fund, are said to be tracking Bailey, and Tavolieri reports that previous contact between Villa and Al-Nassr (following Jhon Durán’s transfer) have helped reopen communication lines for a potential deal.
