Inter Milan prioritising Rasmus Hojlund move

Inter Milan are keen to lure in Rasmus Hojlund as they view the Dane as a priority target with the idea of taking him on loan with an option to buy.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian giants Inter Milan could push for the signing of Rasmus Hojlund in the coming period. The Nerazzuri view the Dane as their top striker target, as they will hope to find a way to convince Manchester United over a loan deal with an option to buy, although the Red Devils want an outright sale.

Manchester United have made some intelligent moves in this window after the signing of Matheus Cunha. Another attacker, with Bryan Mbeumo being their prime target is expected to arrive, while a new striker is high on their agenda. However, to bring in a new centre-forward they must find a solution to their existing players in the position.

Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have been big investments for the Red Devils, with the club now leaning towards keeping the latter. Hojlund recently commented that he was looking forward to being part of the Manchester United project although word from around the club seems to suggest they are willing to offload him.

The report states Manchester United want at least €45 million to sell Hojlund, who has plenty of interest coming from Serie A. There were indications that the player might be open to the idea of returning to Italy, with Inter Milan seen as the front-runner for the €45 million-rated Manchester United and probably willing to make a push.

Inter Milan have established the relevant contact to explore a move for Hojlund, as any deal will hinge on Manchester UNited’s current stance to sell the striker. The Nerazzuri’s current stance would see them offer a loan deal with a buy option at the end of it, which may not please the Red Devils.

Inter Milan ready to wait on Rasmus Hojlund

Inter Milan are aware of Manchester United’s presence in the transfer market to sign a new striker. They also know that the Red Devils will only push for a new forward once they find a solution for Hojlund. While the Red Devils are eager to sell the €45 million-rated attacker, the Nerazzuri could play with time to persuade them to loan the Dane.

It’s a game of applying pressure on the Red Devils to get a deal done on time, as Manchester United could concede defeat in the efforts to sell the player. In the meanwhile, Inter Milan must get personal terms with the player out of the way, which could then allow them plenty of time to wait for their strategy to unfold, as they are only keen to bring the attacker on loan.
