According to an update by reputed Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tolu Arokodare is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are eager to reinforce their offensive unit in the summer transfer window by signing a striker. So, the 24-year-old KRC Genk centre-forward has emerged as a target for the West London club.
However, apart from Fulham, other Premier League clubs have also “made enquiries to KRC Genk”, and recent reports have linked the African attacker with Manchester United. However, Sacha Tavolieri has suggested that the Cottagers have “the most concrete possibility” of signing Arokodare from the Belgian outfit in the summer transfer window.
Tolu Arokodare has made considerable progress since joining KRC Genk from Amiens SC in January 2023. A native of Festac, the 24-year-old spent his formative years in Nigeria but has been in Europe since July 2019. The player’s progress has accentuated during his spell in Belgium, and he enjoyed an excellent 2024/25 campaign.
Arokodare contributed to 30 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions by finding the back of the net 23 times and providing seven assists. Meanwhile, the Nigerian striker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Premier League outfits, in particular, are keen on signing him, with Fulham among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.
Fulham’s interest in Tolu Arokodare is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a striker this summer after parting ways with Carlos Vinicius. In addition, Raul Jimenez is on the wrong side of 30 and approaching the twilight of his career. Furthermore, Rodrigo Muniz has yet to become an undisputed first-choice striker for Fulham.
So, the West London club must sign a striker in the summer transfer window, although Sacha Tavolieri has suggested that they will pursue Arokodare’s signature if Muniz leaves. However, recent reports have claimed that Fulham will look to keep the Brazilian striker at Craven Cottage beyond this summer.
So, it is unclear if Fulham will launch an offensive to sign Arokodare in the summer transfer window. However, the Cottagers have “the most concrete possibility” of signing the 24-year-old Nigerian international in the summer transfer window.
