Ivan Juric towards Atalanta sack, Raffaele Palladino closing in

The era of Ivan Juric at Atalanta appears to be over, with the club moving swiftly toward his dismissal following the damaging Serie A defeat to Sassuolo.

The loss on Sunday has been deemed the breaking point by the Nerazzurri management, who are now poised to make a formal decision on the coach’s future by Monday. Gianluca di Marzio indicates that Juric is “one step away” from being sacked.

The club has already identified the successor, with former Fiorentina and Monza manager Raffaele Palladino emerging as the front-runner to become the new Atalanta coach. Palladino is confirmed to be the top choice to take over the bench in Bergamo.

Further corroborating the move, transfer market journalist Matteo Moretto reported that Atalanta are in advanced talks with Palladino’s representatives to finalize the deal, suggesting the appointment is close to completion. The managerial change is seen as inevitable after a dismal run of results, culminating in the critical loss to Sassuolo.
