Juventus hold a strong interest in Olympique de Marseille midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and the Denmark international is not indifferent to the Italian side’s interest, according to a report from RMC Sport.
The Denmark international is a key part of Marseille’s midfield and has regularly worn the armband under Roberto De Zerbi’s management. Unsurprisingly, therefore, neither OM nor De Zerbi are keen to part ways with Hojbjerg this January. An internal source at the French club, speaking to RMC Sport, have said that it is “out of the question” to sell the former Tottenham Hotspur man in January.
That is despite Hojbjerg having a relatively middling season at OM, where, as per RMC Sport, he has at times cut a lonely and frustrated figure.
Juventus hold an interest in doing a deal this month, with Manuel Locatelli touted as a potential bargaining chip. Hojbjerg is not indifferent to the Italian giant’s interest.
