Marseille predicted XI v PSG: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Mason Greenwood set to start

Marseille face arch-rivals PSG for the 2025-2026 Trophée des Champions – France’s equivalent to the Premier League’s Community Shield. The game will be played in Kuwait City’s Jaber al-Ahmad international stadium at 7pm CET. Marseille could topple PSG and win their first trophy since the 2012 Coupe de la Ligue. Roberto De Zerbi’s OM have already defeated Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens earlier this season in Ligue 1.

On that day, Nayef Aguerd scored the only goal of the game. But the former West Ham centre-back will miss out as he remains with the Moroccan national team in the AFCON. De Zerbi is therefore expected to field a back three with Benjamin Pavard, Leonardo Balerdi and Facundo Medina.

Marseille should have four former Premier League players in their side tonight with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Emerson Palmieri, Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
