Valentín Barco will miss out on RC Strasbourg Alsace’s UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final first leg against Rayo Vallecano on Thursday night. He isn’t the only player that Gary O’Neil will have to do without.
Barco hasn’t played since sustaining an injury against Mainz, but in any case, he is ineligible to face the Spanish side due to suspension. Guéla Doué was also touch-and-go to face Rayo Vallecano as he recovered from an illness, but he is also not expected to feature for Strasbourg tonight.
Aaron Anselmino and Joaquín Panichelli are also still out, whilst David Datro Fofana is not expected to take any part. The latter is not injured, however. Julio Enciso is expected to lead the line tonight, rather than Emanuel Emegha, who is still building up his fitness following a return from injury.
