Arsenal preparing offer to sign Mohammed Kudus

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are willing to fork out €70 million to sign West Ham United mainstay Mohammed Kudus.

According to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal are keen on acquiring the services of Mohammed Kudus and they are willing to test West Ham United’s resolve with a significant financial offer. Mikel Arteta has identified the Ghanaian international as an ideal option to bolster his attack.

Kudus made a name for himself while playing for Ajax. His performances put him on the radar of the Hammers, who acquired his services in the summer of 2023. He had an exceptional debut campaign as he contributed towards 23 goals in his 45 outings.

While West Ham haven’t had the best of seasons this time around, Kudus has still managed to hold his own. He has seven goal contributions and has certainly been one of their standout performers.

Arsenal are pushing to sign Kudus

The 24-year-old’s consistent performances and his massive potential have put him on the radar of Arsenal. The North London club are looking for more quality in attack. Kudus’ dribbling, composure on the ball, and influence in the final third make him a perfect fit for Mikel Arteta’s system.

While he prefers operating on the right flank, his ability to play anywhere across the front line gives the Spanish manager valuable tactical flexibility. He has already proven himself in the English top flight and given his potential, the Ghanaian international could become one of their mainstays in the near future.

Arsenal seem to be willing to put forward an offer worth around €70 million to sign him. A fee in that region could certainly make it difficult for West Ham. While the Hammers would love to have him around for a few more seasons, they are aware that it will be very difficult to keep him at the club amidst interest from some of the biggest clubs in the country.

Meanwhile, the player’s camp hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a move in the upcoming transfer window. A move to the North London club will certainly tempt the 24-year-old, who feels he is ready to take the next step in his career. They certainly have a much better sporting project and he will be able to compete for important silverware at Arsenal.
