Marseille line up summer move for Jakub Kiwior

Marseille are interested in signing the Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior at the end of the season.

According to Foot Mercato, the French outfit are plotting a raid on Arsenal for the 25-year-old defender. He is versatile enough to operate as a central defender as well as a full-back. He could prove to be the ideal acquisition for Marseille.

The player has been linked with Napoli as well.

The French outfit have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they could be an attractive destination for him. Kiwior will be desperate for regular game time next season, and joining the French outfit would be ideal for him. They are likely to offer him more opportunities compared to Arsenal.

That 25-year-old is at the peak of his powers, and he will not want to sit on the bench at Arsenal at this stage of his career. He needs to play regularly, and a move to France would be ideal.

It will be interesting to see if Marseille can secure an agreement with Arsenal. The Gunners will be hoping to fight for major trophies next year, and they need depth in the squad. They have multiple defenders at their disposal, and it would not be a surprise if they decided to sell Kiwior.

The 25-year-old is not a key part of their plans, and they should look to sell him and invest the proceeds from his departure into the playing squad.

Marseille move could be ideal for Kiwior

Marseille have an exciting squad and a talented manager like Roberto de Zerbi at their disposal. They might be able to bring out the best in the 25-year-old defender and help him fulfil his potential.

Arsenal are well stocked in the defensive unit, and they should look to improve the other areas of their squad. They need to add more quality and depth to the attacking unit. Signing a versatile wide player and a reliable centre forward should be their priority heading into the summer transfer window.

Getting rid of fringe players like Kiwior will certainly boost their finances and help them sign quality players in the other areas of the squad.

Meanwhile, the defender will look to get his career back on track with regular football in France if the move goes through.
