According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Bryan Mbeumo is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils have been keen on bolstering their offensive unit by signing a right-sided attacker heading into the summer transfer window. So, the Brentford star has been a viable target for the struggling Premier League giants.
The Red Devils have submitted an improved bid that will take the package over £60 million. With Brentford’s reference point being the £62.5 million that Manchester United paid to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, the latest proposal may have taken them closer to the deal to sign the French-born winger.
Bryan Mbeumo has gone from strength to strength since joining Brentford from ESTAC Troyes in August 2019. The Bees were not in the top flight when they signed the 25-year-old, and he was instrumental in taking them to the Premier League. Since then, the player has played his part in making Brentford a mainstay in the first division.
The Cameroonian international was excellent in the 2024/25 season, contributing to 29 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net 20 times and providing nine assists.
