Le Havre AC have confirmed the departure of Daler Kuzyayev (32). The Russian midfielder’s contract with the club expires at the end of this month.
Former Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Kuzyayev joined HAC back in 2023 on a free transfer. In his two seasons with the club, he made 46 appearances, scoring four goals and registering two assists. Having featured prominently in his debut campaign under Luka Elsner, he was used more sparingly by Didier Digard this season as he made just 12 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring just once. Only six of those appearances came as starts.
However, he contributed to what was ultimately a successful season for Les Ciel et Marines as they retained their Ligue 1 status thanks to a last-gasp win against RC Strasbourg Alsace on the final day of the season. His contract about to expire, Russia international Kuzyayev is now on the search for a new club.
