Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Enzo Kana-Biyik (18) from Le Havre AC and also announced that he will be sent out immediately on loan to Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland.

The teenager had been on the periphery of the Le Havre first team this season under Didier Digard. He was part of the matchday squad for the 2-1 victory over Lille in Ligue 1, and he was also on the bench for the Coupe de France elimination at the hands of Stade Briochin (1-).

However, the forward who can play across the front three was unable to make his professional debut for Le Club Doyen. Instead, he had a successful spell in the U19s where he played 18 and scored nine.

Kana-Biyik is a France youth international and represented the U18s this season, although his father, André Kana-Biyik, and his brother, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik, both played for Cameroon.
