According to a report by A Bola, as relayed by Sport Witness, Ousmane Diomande is the subject of interest from Crystal Palace. The Eagles are keen on bolstering their defensive unit by signing a centre-back in the summer transfer window. So, the 21-year-old Sporting CP defender has emerged as a target for the South London club.
However, A Bola has suggested that the Primeira Liga champions want around €50 million to sell Diomande in the summer transfer window. The same Sport Witness piece has relayed claims on Record that Sporting CP will demand at least €60 million to part ways with the Ivorian defensive sensation.
Ousmane Diomande has become a household name since joining Sporting CP from Midtjylland in January 2023. The 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength at the Portuguese club in the last two and a half years while rising in stature in international football by turning out eight times thus far for Ivory Coast.
The Ivory Coast international has turned out over 100 times thus far for Crystal Palace while chipping in with six goals and two assists. Meanwhile, Diomande’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Crystal Palace will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.
